Insightly announces new outlook features for CRM
Sales software company Insightly has announced a new version of its CRM product designed to improve performance overcome user adoption issues among Outlook-using companies.
The software will feature one of the industry’s deepest integrations for Microsoft Outlook so that users can access full email functionality without having to click away from their CRM. The addition of a single sign on option allows users to retain the same password for Insightly as Outlook and other Windows software.

Insightly now offers full Outlook integration
Other key features include a new Kanban project view, fully-integrated telephony and a redesigned user interface, with a search feature that runs up to ten times faster than the previous version. These will be available across all editions, with rollout to select customers beginning next month.

Insightly hopes that these improvements will result in fewer user adoption issues when implementing the software and improved sales team productivity among mid-sized businesses, which tend to rely on Outlook more than SMBs.

Insightly's revamped UI
Founder and CEO Anthony Smith said “A CRM product’s ease of use matters just as much as its feature set. If your sales reps dread logging into the tool, your entire project is jeopardized.
“The new version of Insightly is one of the fastest, most beautiful CRM systems on the market, and is designed to help businesses overcome the user adoption barriers that often hinder a CRM project’s success.”
“Insightly is the only CRM suite that provides integrated email templates, scheduling and tracking for Microsoft Outlook users. Our existing integration with Gmail has contributed to our popularity, but as we increase our adoption among midsize enterprises it is important we build deeper integrations around ecosystems such as Microsoft Outlook which are preferred by many of these larger businesses.”
